FACE It. Love It.
A Teen Mental Health Assembly
In recent years, we’ve all faced significant loss: routines, loved ones, and a sense of ‘normalcy’. Unaddressed, this loss can trigger fear, manifesting as anxiety, anger, or depression.
Ben’s mental health assembly guides students to mindfully acknowledge and engage with these emotions, fostering self-compassion and empowering teens with new choices that support healthier, happier lives.
Through personal stories of loss and uplifting music, Ben shares research-backed self-care techniques, urging students to seek support when needed.

Research based, trauma informed
Ben’s lessons are based on the research of Dr. Richard C. Schwartz (Founder of Internal Family Systems), Peter A. Levine (author of Healing Trauma), and many other mindfulness based modalities.
These presentations are trauma informed and do NOT address the topics of suicide, self-harm, or sexual abuse.
Many schools use Ben’s programs to meet their Title I, Title IV, PBIS, AVID, and Leader in Me programming requirements.

3 concepts students walk away with
