Inspiring kind, mindful, and courageous teens
In the midst of a post covid teen mental health crisis, Ben’s assemblies aim to help students understand their distressed nervous system’s fight-flight-freeze reactions, to introduce easy mindful self-care practices that help, and to encourage students to seek support when they encounter life’s challenges.

3 concepts students walk away with
- The Power of Mindfulness and Self-Acceptance
- How to Face Mental Health Challenges Compassionately
- How to Love Ourselves and Others Through It

professionally produced & polished
Let’s be clear – this isn’t just another zoom meeting hosted by some Tech-Toddler or Browser-Boggled Brenda (no offense to those that constantly find themselves Ctrl-Alt-Defeated 😂).
Ben has served over 40,000 students online and has hosted multiple events in partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA) leading over 7,000 students all at once through entertaining and educational programming with remarkable reviews and student engagement.
His 30 minute virtual assemblies feature age-appropriate and engaging lessons infused with comedic videos, heart-felt storytelling, and family-friendly motivational rapping. The presentations address the unique challenges that middle and high school students face including fear of failure, being judged, bullied, and ‘cancelled’, and their struggles asking for help.
Many schools use Ben’s programs to meet their Title I, Title IV, PBIS, AVID, and Leader in Me programming requirements.
Research based, trauma informed
Ben’s lessons are based on the research of Dr. Richard C. Schwartz (Founder of Internal Family Systems), Peter A. Levine (author of Healing Trauma), and many other mindfulness based modalities.
These presentations are trauma informed and do NOT address the topics of suicide, self-harm, or sexual abuse.
